We have changed how the public is able to interact in our Mumble server.
The old muted jail, “Unregistered”, has been changed to “The Wasteland”. The Wasteland is an unmoderated (except extreme cases) Mumble channel where our server regulars can play and get to know each other. They can also interact with us from time to time if we decide to join The Wasteland.
Non-community members will still be stuck up in The Wasteland and will not be able to join any other Mumble channel. If you are a vetted community member, you may now choose to keep it quiet in The Courtyard or join the chaos of The Wasteland.
We will plan on reinforcing Bambi Camp, then running a Meet & Greet to meet other survivors/regulars on our server.
Prepare for farming and unknown hostile contacts, this event will be announced globally on the server once we are setup at Bambi Camp.
Please wear Class B uniform at a minimum, if you are able to find and wear Class A, that would be fantastic! See the new Uniform Requirements in the Field Manual.
With the onset of the 0.60 patch, we have increasingly encountered more and more “mute cowards”. They refuse to talk and instead will instantly shoot because they are scared.
Even if you are going to shoot us, at least say “die!” or something. Hell, talk over our corpse if you can’t talk before you kill someone. Stop being cowards! I kind of miss the days when someone would lie to your face or distract you before shooting or scream something nonsensical before wasting you.
We were returning back to base from several hours of looting military locations. Our truck and squad mates were packed with loot and we came across a clever trap…
Since our server has basically become med/high population and military grade loot has been scarce, I will plan on an organized loot run through the server’s military and police locations. We will run it as a patrol, it is possible the loot run will take place on foot if we do not have a large enough single vehicle.
If you would like to participate, be prepared to login at North Base on time for the mission, or prepared to land navigate your way to whatever waypoint we are headed towards.
Before the mission we will run a quick drill covering a previous opportunity for improvement.
