I’m watching this closely.  Uninstalled the game for now but definitely psyched to get back in.  Everything I see looks great.

You guys probably figured this out already but apparently there is a problem with vehicle persistence that came over from experimental.

I would suggest not fixing up cars but probably taking the parts off of them and storing them.  Hopefully they can fix that with a small patch and then we can fix the ones up we find without too much trouble.

That stream was really bad.  Very poorly planned and poorly executed.  Granted there was some bad internet where they were but there were plenty of other issues.

The infected jumping over the fences was the best part.

Welcome. We have been pretty quiet lately. Hopefully the .58 update and persistence being enabled will bring some people back. I haven’t played much since the .55 update and have been feeling eager to get back into the fray. Looking forward to seeing you on.

I’m cool with that. I might jump back into DayZ after the .56 update to see how things are going.

It looks like there is going to be a full wipe that is going to happen with the .56 update. Better off waiting until after that.

Now that the loot has been rolled back, this advice isn’t as valid. The best places to find loot where outhouses, deer stands and those small brown sheds with the single doors. I actually didn’t even bother to look in most buildings.

My last spawn, I was lucky to spawn in Novo and load up on some apples. I headed straight for Nagornoe. Once I left there, besides a gun, I was loaded up with everything I would need and much more.

We’ll have to see what tweaks the make to the new loot system. That will likely not be until .56 but we’ll see.
