I’m writing this just after the encounter I had and boy was it lucky and awesome.
I was in Elektro on a medium pop server and was thirsty, So armed with a ghillie suit, Mosin (PU) and a revolver I headed to the water pump.
When turning the corner out of the tunnel, at the water pump was a squad of 5 people – In panic my first instinct was to fire off my revolver. In doing this I killed one of them with all 6 rounds and immediately did a 180 degree turn and ran back where I came from to escape the city.
As I turned around to run, I managed to get through underneath a tunnel and ended up outside the green house behind the water well, One of the players of that squad shot my legs out with a pistol grip shotty – I shot him in the back as he realized was out of ammo and had to reload so he retreated.
– From here on out I had broken legs and was in a static prone position –
Because I was in a ghillie suit I hit the deck and rolled next to a wooden picket fence and waited for them to swarm me as I knew I had 0 chance of survival – as they all began to circle the walls and house around me not being able to see me so well because of my ghillie I began to pick them off with my mosin one by one.
The first guy rushed me with a AK47, Spraying wildly he missed every shot and I managed to firstly shoot him in the leg and then when he dropped I shot him in the skull. After that the second guy peaked the wall infront of me with an akm attached with a drum mag; I shot him in the dome.
The third guy tried to flank around me by following in the same footsteps as the first guy, except I managed to hit him twice with the mosin.
Out of ammo the shotty guy circled me, I thought I was for sure dead as he was at point blank range but the idiot couldn’t work out that his backpack was ruined and he couldn’t fire his pistol grip shotgun which was inside. He circled me for ages as I was confused at why I couldn’t reload my mosin – but I found out my rounds were ruined and after splitting them I shot him dead as he circled me.
After this one of them got an elektro spawn as a freshie and started running around me calling me a hacker as I chuckled and said he could add me on steam and report me if he liked.
Best use of the ghillie suit & mosin ever.
