My tent was emptied out last day or 3 by HERO, Just nw of Zel.

Same tent I was in when Tiberius and myself had a fatal confrontation.

All left was a barrel with misc and a note saying it was HERO done.

Did you happen to read the note I left?

Take what you NEED. Don’t take what you WANT. Play Fair.

Reason I ask is myself and friend are trying to play a fair and honest type role play game. We like your server due to you folks doing same.

Your tactics as to assistance, policing etc is appreciated. Makes for an interesting server.

But to come to an empty tent with 99 % of everything I spent many many hours gathering all stolen ..bad taste.

I have been in many player tents on your server and either I just looked or I took and left items to survive.

    Stealing is sad.

I don’t plan on joining Mumble..have 3 voice programs now. Guess will just mean items gone forever… tacky guys/gals..tacky.

Double checked my voice once again..is working.. altercation with Tiberius was shame.. don’t have answer. One with Digit, I had voice to zero since in ”
normal” servers I don’t care to hear someone call my mother names.

Donated to your cause financially also…hope our future meetings don’t make me like it was a mistake.

If you received a resupply claim, your items are not gone forever.

We commandeer equipment we find because we do not know if the previous owner intends to use it for good or not.  In our possession, the gear will only be used for the greater good of all.

We take from all unknown camps to aid our cause and resupply those with good intentions. You can bring the note to us if you would like to have a chat and we can determine if your intentions are worthy.

Basically, bandits and hostiles don’t get their gear back.

Please see our Field Manual topic on Base Raiding for more details on how we conduct this process.

    ROFL ..how funny!

No you guys can keep what you steal commandeer lol

I get it now, you guys are the IRS or something.. seize assets and declare guilty first then force us to come hat in hand to you.

Way too close to a socialist government ..well they think they fair too..so it’s cool.

Just wanted all to be clear. Your server your rules..and I really do appreciate the server. Don’t think I just a whiny bitch, I think your overall scheme is very rare and unique. It makes this server worth the time to play on.

Will bone up on your Field manual..must have only glanced before.

Will also try leave a note with my name on it in all future tents so you can laugh your behinds off as you cart away my stash!

I think you are confusing our public server, which is open for any play style, with our community mission, which is to do good.  There are no rules to abide by on our server other than those set forth by the devs, and we welcome all play styles including heroes, bandits, and all manner of survivors in between.  Public servers are not able to use admin utilities such as kick/ban to force play styles or rules on anyone.  Private servers are allowed to have and enforce special rules.  In-game, anyone can play anyway they want in accordance with the developers’ intentions and design of the game.

Our Base Raid mission template is for any server we play on, not just ours.  If we come across any unknown base on any server, we may commandeer equipment and leave a note with a resupply claim.  This is DayZ, a video game about the apocalypse and the chaos that follows.

I don’t get the purpose of your reference to civilized society and how governments work in civilized societies. We are not a government, we are an organization that is built to do good.  Our Field Manual is public knowledge so that our actions and behaviors are transparent to the people that encounter us.

We acquire gear to aid in that cause and we help those out that deserve or need our help.  From our point of view, the only way we can be certain that large quantities of guns and ammo found in camps are going to be used for good is if we know whose camp it is and their intentions or we are in possession of said gear.

The gameplay style rules we make for our community members are for our enjoyment of forcing good into the harsh world of DayZ.  We are not a hand holding society where everyone farts rainbows and butterflies and skips around whistling Dixie hoping no one shoots us and asking permission to do good.

We are “survivors of the apocalypse” and the player environment that DayZ forces upon us.  We must be firm in order to accomplish our mission successfully.

By the way, if you see blue with yellow arm bands, do not aim at us.  We shoot as soon as a gun is raised.  We can’t help that there are lone wolf survivors out there that are too scared to talk and would rather point weapons at us.  We certainly aren’t going to bend over and take it if someone is threatening us with a weapon in any scenario.

Hopefully that clears some things up for you and anyone else that may come across this thread.  Enjoy!
