Squad Organization

Working with an organized and disciplined squad will greatly increase the chances of a favorable outcome from a given scenario.  The Hostile Environment Relief Organization has 4 squad positions: Leader, Medic, Assist, and Recon.  (“LMAR in in charge.”)

Each position has their own duties and responsibilities to the squad and is designed to split the requirements needed to survive into 4 distinct roles.  While all squad members have a general responsibility to help the squad mission succeed, having specialties allows each squad member to focus on specific tasks during both friendly and hostile encounters.

It takes time to develop trust that your squad members are performing their given task.  Once this level of trust is achieved, it is much easier to break away from being a “paranoid survivor” that is responsible for communicating with other survivors, treating wounds, engaging hostiles, and scanning sectors for activity all at the same time.

The following are the squad positions of the Hostile Environment Relief Organization, minimum recommended equipment, and personal challenges to put your skills to the test or see if you may qualify for each position.

“I am the ghost that stalks you.”

Recommended Squad Formations

Larger squads are not recommended due to the increasing probability of friendly fire.  It is rather recommended to break into multiple squads and use the Tactical Groups in Mumble.
