Field Manual Update: Combat Training
The field manual has been updated with a new mission template: Combat Training
This mission template will allow us to engage in high risk combat focused training as HERO* tagged players. Please read the caveats listed in the mission template before running these mission types.

We decided to go check out this new place called “Prison Island” officially as a group.
In true HERO fashion, we swam there on a high population server and decided to try and make contact with whoever we came across.
To our surprise, the island was empty when we arrived, or was it?
Server Update
I just received notice from Vilayer this morning that they have addressed Persistence, however our server is now issuing a “Bad Version” notice and we are unable to connect. I am aware of the issue and working on resolving.
Mumble voice quality increased
Murmur, the Mumble server, has been set to an increased voice quality from the default of 72 kbps to 128 kbps.
To increase output quality on your end, in Mumble go to Configure -> Audio Wizard and go to the last page in the wizard to set your quality to “High”.
We should all hear a noticeable difference from the bump in quality!
We have a server!
Our server is up! Look at the bottom of the website for the server information and player count.

I put a challenge to the first players tonight to record who is our first death on our server. Since DayZ is a game where the only real point is to not die, the first death from our community should be historic and worth telling the story!

We decided to perform a walking patrol through a high population server through Elektrozavodsk.
Our group handled it very well and we only lost 1 person during a firefight. Lots of contacts made with other survivors, lots helped, some killed.
