SKYBEAM came and installed a new 900 MHz radio on our roof to replace the old 2.4 GHz radio.
2.4 GHz is a widely used frequency that was picking up interference from everything including wireless routers, bluetooth, and wireless telephones. It was worst when everyone would get home during peak times and fire up their technology all using 2.4 GHz.
The 900 MHz spectrum is a lot less noisy.
Long story short, our internet *should* be smooth as glass even during peak times now. We will know for sure once the peak time hits around 18:00.
